The Bank of Zambia's Financial and Other Statistics report for 2025 shows commercial banks lent about $4.3 billion (K87.8bn) across economic sectors, with manufacturing taking the largest share. The same report puts total 2025 transactions at about $190 billion (K3.9trn).
